If you get lucky, you might find a fine piece of antique furniture lying around and can be bought at a very cheap price if you know how to haggle. There are also period antiques such as those pertaining to furniture design of a particular century. At any rate, the antique dealer has many contacts and he can help you if you ask something which he does not have but might know someone who has it.
